Program: Presentation of donations to Village of Northport for their tree replacement program and to Northport Native Garden Initiative. Preparing entry slips and discussion on the elements of design by Judy Ross.
Design: A traditional petite design inspired by Gulliver’s Travels under 8” in all dimensions.

Program: Pruning Hydrangeas: No More Flowerless Plants by Mina Vescera, Nursery and Landscape Specialist, Cornell Cooperative Extension.
Design: A parallel design inspired by the pirate ships of Treasure Island. Less than 20” in height.

Program: Federated Garden Clubs of New York, Elizabeth Walsh, Second District Assistant Director.

Design: With a wizard’s hat, create a spirited design that evokes Harry Potter (any).

Design: Create a centerpiece inspired by Brideshead Revisited. No higher than 12”.

Judging: Properly filled out Floral Design form must be completed with adherence to
design specifications for centerpieces. Credit will be given.
